Funding & Support
Helping you access the support that's right for you
Whether you're exploring funding options, seeking support, or unsure where to begin, our team can help you understand your options and identify the right pathway forward.
Finding the right support pathway
Understanding funding options and applying for support can feel overwhelming. You may have concerns about your child’s development but feel unsure about eligibility, what evidence is needed or where to begin.
At Care Pathways Australia, we help families understand their options and take the next steps. From developmental observations and supporting evidence to completing application paperwork, we make the process clearer and more manageable.
Understanding your funding options
Accessing support can involve different funding pathways. Our team can help you understand options relevant to your circumstances and explain fees before services begin.
NDIS application support
Our application support service focuses on children younger than six who may be eligible for the NDIS through the early childhood pathway.
We work alongside families to understand their child’s strengths, developmental needs and participation in everyday life, then help gather and prepare the information needed for an access request.
We can assist with:
Understanding the pathway
Explaining the application process, discussing potential eligibility and helping you connect with your local NDIS early childhood partner.
Understanding your child’s needs
Gathering information from you and, with consent, your child’s educators and treating professionals.
Observations and assessments
exploring communication, movement, learning, social interaction, self-care and everyday participation to identify where support is needed.
Preparing supporting evidence
Documenting developmental needs, their impact on daily life and recommendations for early intervention.
Completing application paperwork
Helping prepare forms, organise reports and submit information through the appropriate pathway with your consent.
Support through the process
Explaining next steps, assisting with requests for further information and discussing the outcome with you.
A formal diagnosis is not always required for children younger than six. Our team can help you understand what evidence may be relevant to your child’s circumstances.
The NDIA determines eligibility and funding. Our role is to help families prepare a clear, well-supported application.
