Adolescents & Young Adults
Supporting every step towards independence.
We work with young people to build practical skills, confidence and self-belief as they take the next steps towards adulthood.
Building skills for life and beyond
We work with young people on the goals that matter to them - building everyday skills, communicating their needs, navigating change and participating at home, in education and in the community.
Support is shaped around each person’s interests, strengths and choices. Families and other supports can be involved with the young person’s consent.
Support may focus on building independence and participation across:
- Home
- Education
- University or further study
- Employment
- Relationships
- Community
- Social environments

Our clinicians work with the individual to establish meaningful goals and build practical skills that can be applied within everyday life.

Three areas we support
Self-care
Learning to wash, dress, eat and toilet independently are important milestones. We assess skills and coach your family with practical strategies.
Leisure and play
A child's main occupation is play. Through play children build skills, discover their sense of self and connect with others.
Education
We work in schools and childcare, helping staff understand your child's learning style with strategies that support their learning.
Your Team Link
One contact, a whole team
